1名沒有透露姓名的荷蘭男子搞「砸」了精心策劃的浪漫求婚記，因為用來求婚的起重機，竟把鄰居的屋頂給砸爛了。

美聯社報導，荷蘭烏得勒支市（Utrecht）附近艾瑟爾斯坦（Ijsselstein）鎮中心的這位情郎租了1台起重機，打算今天一早搭著起重機從天而降到女友臥室窗前，為她彈上一曲之後開口求婚。

不過起重機沒能幫上忙，反而失控傾倒，把鄰居家的屋頂砸出1個大洞。所幸這名衰男自行爬到安全處，沒人受傷。

根據荷蘭「大眾日報」（Algemeen Dagblad），女友最後還是答應了求婚。小倆口接受警方問話後，就去巴黎慶祝了。

不過，當局找來另1台更大的起重機，打算扶正砸毀屋頂的起重機時，起重機再度倒下，壓在其他鄰居的屋頂上。

英國「每日電訊報」（Telegraph）報導，當局已經宣布鄰居的房子不安全，並疏散左右兩邊建築的居民。
