家父過世那一年，悲痛的我，遇到了描寫父子親情的電影《克拉瑪對克拉瑪》，從此它成為我心中永遠的第一名。我常想，人們之所以需要愛，是因為，人生多多少少有缺憾。

當年，一部電影適時彌補了我的傷痛，同樣，對其他人來說，那也可能是一張餐桌，一顆粽子的秘密，一枚瓶蓋，一個衝動的證明。《愛的圓舞曲》裡，許多人藉「物」找到愛的座標，也有像〈待長工如半子〉等篇章，無私地畫出愛的大圓，讓收受愛的人，亦能在心底寫出滿滿的感激。字字句句，平凡中見璀璨。
