中石化今天表示，無論是輸送天然氣、石油或化學物質的輸送管，即使沒有輸送使用，其內部皆會殘留相關物質，考量到大家安全，中石化也積極尋求中油協助，請其回收管內丙烯，中石化也希望在大量開挖前一定要做好相關的配套措施，以避免民國86年中油鎮興橋爆炸案重演，中油也答應高雄市政府，最晚三天(8/6)內協助中石化出清輸送管內的丙烯。
