本田為何一直使用單凸輪軸?

今天跟同事聊天時,有一位同事說想買CIVIC 2.0想問問看我們的意見
其中一位前輩就勸同事別買CIVIC,原因是價錢那麼高但引擎還使用單凸輪軸根本是台落伍車
還號稱曾經開Elantra刷卡了4,5台CIVIC9,又說雙凸是現在主流的技術,連Altis都採用
只有像本田那種日薄西山的車廠才會用單凸這種落伍技術

有人知道本田到底是何種原因一直都使用單凸,難道真的像前輩說的一樣
現今的本田不再是以前充滿熱血的本田
