踩單車到清水斷崖?

大家好, 我跟朋友下月會到台灣,
想去清水斷崖, 打算踩單車去 (由新城出發)
本來打算走路, 但會太花時間

請問有路線是不用踩行車道的嗎?
因為單車技術不是十分好...怕危險,
看到有人說有別的路能踩去清水斷崖, 但不知道詳細路線, 所以希望有人能解答...謝謝!

另外請問來往太魯閣跟新城的交通是否只有太魯閣任我行?
