今年10月1日起，台中市大隆、精明商圈全面禁菸。衛生局今與兩商圈成立無菸商圈示範區，即日起進入公告輔導期，暫不開罰。10月1日起，吸菸者只能在大隆路口處設置的定點式吸菸區吸菸。
