國民黨立委吳育昇提案建議內政部，警方可添購辣椒水，減少處理群眾運動的受傷情形。對此，行政院長江宜樺上午答覆民進黨立委高志鵬質詢時表示，行政部門尊重立法委員的提案，但政府現在所使用的警械已經足夠，目前沒打算增列辣椒噴霧等新的警械。
