歐巴馬：打擊伊波拉應就源消滅

美國總統歐巴馬今天與閣員會議2小時後說，必須在源頭，也就是疫情最嚴重的西非國家打擊伊波拉病毒，如果這種致命疾病擴散到其他地方，將會蔓延到全球。

歐巴馬表示，美國監控伊波拉疫情的措施必須更積極，如果境內發現病例，當局必須在24小時內派小組前往現場協助執行標準程序。

歐巴馬表示，德州第2名護士感染伊波拉，凸顯有必要加強努力對抗這種病毒。他表示當局正在檢討德州病例，以免類似情況再度發生。

他還說，伊波拉在美國擴散開來的可能性「非常非常低」。

歐巴馬原本要前往外地助選，但因為伊波拉會議而取消。
