求救，從義大利帶到美國的咖啡機，電壓問題！

前兩天從義大利帶回一台咖啡機(Bialetti Mokissima Trio Type CF43) 到美國使用。在買的當下沒想太多，結果昨天想在美國家裡煮杯義式濃縮咖啡，竟然沒辦法讓機器運作。我是昨天先到Best Buy買了個轉換插頭（10A 250v AC），結果是能夠開機，但機器就一直停留在空轉，後來也發現機器本身有點過熱。趕緊把電源都切斷。一開始是想說買到機王（天啊，千萬不要！）可是google了一下，猜測是跟電壓有關係。本身對這方面的知識相當匱乏，希望有好心人士能夠幫幫忙，真的感激不盡！！！
咖啡機的電壓顯示是：220-240V~ 50/60Hz 1250W
