勞動部基本工資審議委員會今天登場，因資方抗議官方未遵守上次會議決議 (CPI漲幅累計達3%才開會)，7位資方委員全數缺席抵制，只派兩位代表出席，創下基本工資審議委員會先例。儘管出席委員過半數如期開會，但資方在會中質疑此次會議正當性，勞方代表也同意先就程序解套，最後決議周五再開會。

勞動部長陳雄文表示，出席委員今日達成數項共識，包括與會委員同意因經濟成長率 (GDP)、物價指數 (CPI)增幅皆超出預期，今年不受上次會議決議限制，將召開基本工資審議委員會；實質基本工資審議將在周五開會討論。他說，事緩則圓，今天不片面處理基本工資，就是希望大家能平心靜氣討論。
